Amphetamine is usually white powder (sometimes pink or yellow). It is bought or delivered further wrapper in paper or small closable bags. There are also two other forms of amphetamine. Amphetamine base is usually delivered in small plastic bags as paste or wrappers or small ampules. Crystallic form is known as Ice and it is delivered as small bits of sugar or shiny crystalls, which are often kept in reclosable bags or ampules.
Effects of Amphetamine
Amphetamine stimulates and gives strength. The effects of amphetamine are similar to adrenaline. Hearth is beating fast and the user has a energetic feeling. When using ‘Speed’ many individuals feel increase in their self confidence, as well as feeling more alert and more potent to work, party or dance longer without rest. Amphetamine removes the feeling of hunger, makes ones mouth dry, and causes insomnia. The effect last from six to eight hours. After the peak user feels downturn. After the alert period, the user of amphetamine feels tired, anxious, and fatigued.
Risks of Amphetamine
Daily use of amphetamine can cause serious sensations such as panic symptoms, paranoia and even hallucinations. The symptoms decrease after several days of stopping the use. Tolerance for amphetamine increases fastly. When using amphetamine once a week for a period of couple of weeks, the tolerance may grow so the user need larger amphetamine dose to get same effects as before.
Extensive use of amphetamine causes the user to feel weak and ill, which will potentially cause a lot of symptoms of flu. This is due to absence of decent nutrition and rest. Other symptoms are high blood pressure and heart problems. The risk of heart attack is possible. The user should avoid using amphetamine especially if she/he or her/his family members have had issues with heart or blood pressure. Amphetamine may cause very severe stress to heart if it’s combined with other stimulating drugs e.g. such as ecstasy, poppers or cocaine.
